Securing of rollers

In some cases the securing of rollers in conveyors and machines is indispensable. It secures the conveyor rollers against accidentally jumping out of the idler frame. This applies in particular to the most common type of conveyor rollers for bulk material conveyors - the insert rollers. With this type of rollers, the shafts of the rollers are simply inserted into corresponding cut-outs in the idler frames and held in position by gravity.

When does it make sense to secure the conveyor rollers? This is, for example, in the case if vibrations of the conveyor belt or the entire conveyor cannot be excluded or if such an event could have catastrophic consequences - for example, if the detached roller falls from a great height. Securing of rollers in the idler frames is also very advantageous and practical when transporting and installing of complete idlers (idler frame with installed rollers).
