For over 90 years, AKT has been shaping the industry through innovation and collaborative partnerships. We are celebrating this important anniversary with a special event that honors the successful path of our company and at the same time looks to the promising future.
2018
With the relocation of our turning shop to the new hall and the acquisition of state-of-the-art lathes, we have significantly expanded our production capacities in order to offer our customers even more precise and efficient production solutions.
2016
The new hall creates additional space in the existing premises for a spacious test area for roller bearings, allowing us to further expand our research and development capacities.
2011
The new hall extension in Bottrop was equipped with a large-scale photovoltaic system on the roof in order to sustainably cover our energy requirements and take a further step towards environmentally friendly production.
2010
The opening of international representative offices marks an important step in our global expansion in order to offer our customers worldwide an even better service and customized solutions.
2009
The commissioning of a unique fully automated assembly line for idlers enables us not only to achieve maximum efficiency, but also to ensure 100 percent quality in production.

Business handed over to the 3rd generation. Rolf Küpper retires. Susan Küpper is the new managing partner.

The 75th anniversary of Artur Küpper GmbH & Co. KG is duly celebrated with a festive boat trip, during which we toast our successful history and look to a promising future.

The expansion of the production halls in Bottrop by approx. 1,000 m² and the modernization of the administration wing strengthen our capacities and improve the working conditions in order to continue to offer efficient and innovative solutions for our customers.

The establishment of a Europe-wide network with international ball bearing manufacturers and foreign representatives strengthens our global presence and enables us to offer our customers tailor-made solutions and first-class service throughout the continent.
1997
The cooperation agreement with an Asian manufacturer of ball bearings and the first certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 underline our commitment to the highest quality standards and expand our product range with innovative solutions on a global level.

The construction of a second production facility in Bottrop and the multiple expansions of the production halls considerably strengthen our production capacities and enable us to react flexibly to growing market requirements.

Rolf Küpper, the son of the company founder, takes over the management of the company

Artur Küpper founds a company in Velbert-Tönisheide that specializes in the production of special ball bearings, laying the foundation for a successful company history.
