Connecting links

Depending on the number of conveyor rollers in an garland idler, the conveyor roller garlands are called 2-part, 3-part or 5-part.

In this chapter or the sub-chapters, you will find information on selecting the dimensions of the connecting links for the conveyor roller garlands: Diameter of the pin as well as pitch of the link plates depending on the belt width, the number of conveyor rollers in a garland, the roller diameter and the roller length.

If the belt width and the roller length increase, the pin diameter must be selected larger. 
Increasing the conveyor roller diameter leads to an increase in the link plate pitch "t" (distance between the holes in the link plate).
