Rigid frame idlers
Rigid frame idlers consist of rigid idler frames and the belt conveyor rollers fitted into this frames. Conveyor rollers are usually only inserted into the corresponding cut-outs in these steel structures and held in position by gravity. This is the most common way of fixing of rollers in a belt conveyor.
The idler frames themselves are attached at defined intervals to the supporting steel structures of the conveyor. This allows optimum alignment of the idler frames in a belt conveyor.
The term "idler frame" has some synonyms: idler station, or - for troughed belt conveyors - troughing idler frame, trough frame.
Our idler frames are made from hot-dip galvanized steel as standard to protect against corrosion. This guarantees operating times of well over 10 years in harsh industrial conditions. Other corrosion protection options are available on request.
We are happy to offer you both - just the idler frames and the complete idlers with corresponding conveyor rollers.
We look forward to your inquiry!
