The 2019th expert fair on bulk materials handling equipment – which alternates annually between the University of Munich (dep. fml, Prof.-Dr.-Ing. Fottner) and the University of Magdeburg (ILM, Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Katterfeld) – took place in Magdeburg. For the 24th time experts from industry and research met in a pleasant and constructive atmosphere under the motto “Digitization in Bulk Materials Handling Technology” to discuss the latest trends and technologies in the field of bulk materials handling.
Interested scientists and practitioners have been come together for an intensive exchange of experience and knowledge, inspired by speeches, product presentations, and discussions.
Yevgeniy Chumachenko, M. Sc. — in cooperation with Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Katterfeld and Dipl.-Ing. Christian Richter from the Department of Conveying and Material Handling, Institute of Logistics and Material Handling Systems (ILM) Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FMB) of the University of Magdeburg — presented the latest development of joint project "Sensing Idler".
